PreDCR is software application used to create an architectural plan as per AutoDCR software requirements. It works under AutoCAD environment with an additional menu & toolbar.
Using PreDCR commands user can create all the layers required by AutoDCR in one click. Once all the layers are created in the drawing user can use AutoCAD commands to draw the plan on corresponding layers. At any time user can verify if the drawn entities are correct or not as PreDCR will highlight failed entities if any. To register PreDCR, user has to send the 20-digit reference code generated on the computer to sarika@softtech-engr.com
The reference key provided is to be entered in the blank space after which PreDCR will be registered in the system. AutoDCR will be implemented in Thrissur Corporation from 02nd September 2011. Online applications shall be mandatory in the Corporation Main office Wards (3, 14, 39, 52) for buildings with an area above 200 sq.m.

Building plans drawn in PreDCR format can be uploaded from the Corporation website with the help of a username and password which is given to all licensed architects, engineers from the Corporation. For this registration valid license certificate and ID proof is necessary. A registration in any BPAMS enabled Corporations in the state will suffice. The drawing shall be verified on a priority basis manner after which hard copy documents have to be submitted at the Corporation for further verification. Any discrepancy found later can lead to resubmission of the drawing.
After the documents and drawings are verified by the concerned persons, the application fee is to be paid. These are then handed over to respective Building Inspector for site inspection. The site inspection report will be then entered into the system after which the file is then transferred to the next higher authority. The permit certificate is given then handed over to respective Building Inspector for site inspection.
